Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information is collected when you use this website and the ZenPack application, operated by ZenJay, based in New South Wales, Australia. The short version: ZenPack is built to be private — it runs entirely on your computer, requires no account, and sends no telemetry.

1. The ZenPack application

No account, no tracking. ZenPack does not require sign-up or login, and it does not collect analytics, usage statistics, or telemetry.
Your files stay local. All processing of your audio library happens on your own computer. Your files are never uploaded anywhere.
Offline licensing. Once your license file is loaded, validation happens entirely offline on your machine. The app does not "phone home".
Bug reports are manual and optional. If you choose to use the built-in bug report feature, it generates a report folder on your own computer containing app/system information and a listing of your library's folder structure. Nothing is sent automatically — you decide whether to email it to us. License details are excluded from these reports.

2. Information you provide to us

Purchases. When you buy ZenPack, the purchase is handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. They collect your email address and payment details under their own privacy policy. We receive your email address and order details so we can deliver your license; we never see your payment card information.
License issuance. To issue your license, you provide a Machine Code generated by the app (via our activation page or by email). This is a short identifier derived from your computer's hardware; it does not contain personal information, your files, or anything readable about your system.
Email. If you contact us for support or business enquiries, we'll have your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to respond and provide support.

3. License activation service

When you activate a license through our activation page, we process: the license key from your purchase (verified with Lemon Squeezy, then stored only as a one-way hash plus its last few characters for support cross-referencing — never in full), your Machine Code, a timestamp, and your IP address. These issuance records let us re-issue lost license files, support you across hardware changes, and prevent fraud and abuse. They are kept for as long as licenses remain supported.

4. This website

This website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare. It does not use cookies, analytics scripts, or advertising trackers. Cloudflare may process standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) to serve and secure the site, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which involves your browser making a request to Google's servers.

5. What we don't do

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing.
We do not send marketing emails unless you've explicitly asked for updates.
We do not collect any information from inside the ZenPack application.

6. Data retention and your rights

We keep purchase and license records for as long as needed to provide support and reissue licenses, and as required for tax and legal purposes. You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it (subject to records we're legally required to keep), by emailing the address below. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
