These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ZenPack software and this website, operated by ZenJay ("we", "us"), an independent software developer based in New South Wales, Australia. By downloading, purchasing, or using ZenPack, you agree to these Terms.
ZenPack is a desktop application for Windows that organizes audio sample libraries. It is offered in two modes:
Purchases are processed by our payment partner, Lemon Squeezy, acting as merchant of record. Your payment details are handled by Lemon Squeezy and are subject to their own terms and privacy policy. We never see or store your payment card details.
When you purchase ZenPack, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software on your own computer(s) as permitted by the license file issued to you. You own everything ZenPack produces from your files — your organized library and indexes are yours, for personal or commercial use.
You may not:
After purchase, your license file is issued through our online activation page using the license key from your purchase receipt together with the Machine Code shown in the app, or by email from our support address. A license may be activated on up to 3 machines. Because licenses are bound to your computer's hardware, a major hardware change or a new computer may require a reissued license — contact us and we will sort it out at no charge for legitimate use.
ZenPack has a free, unlimited-time demo that runs on your real library — please try it before buying so you can confirm the app works on your system. Because a license delivers its full value immediately and permanently, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds.
If the software does not function as described on your system and we are unable to resolve the issue with you, contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund. Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law or other consumer protections that cannot be excluded.
ZenPack runs locally on your computer and operates on files you choose. By design it includes safety features (dry run mode, logging, optional copy mode), but organizing a file library involves moving files. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss arising from use of the software.
The software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our total liability for any claim relating to the software is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the software or website after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
